What ZapKit is for
Most online tools bury a two-second answer under sign-up walls, pop-ups and pages of filler. ZapKit goes the other way: one job per page, the tool at the top, and the result as soon as you've entered your input. Below every tool there's a short explanation of how it works and answers to the questions people actually ask about it.
- Answers, not accounts
- Every tool works the moment you open it. No sign-up, no email, no trial.
- Private by default
- Calculators and file tools run in your browser, so your inputs stay on your device.
- Real data, labelled estimates
- YouTube numbers come live from the official API. Anything estimated says so.
- Fast on any phone
- Pages are small and static, so a tool is ready to use even on a slow connection.
- Free, built by one person
- Every tool is free to use. If one saves you time, you can support the project with any amount.
How ZapKit works
The YouTube tools came first, built for learners who wanted to know how long a course playlist would take and for creators checking public numbers. They read live data from YouTube's official API, never from scraped pages, and the earnings calculators clearly say that they are estimates.
Finance calculators, everyday converters, developer utilities and in-browser image and PDF tools are being added next. Anything that can run on your own device does, so your numbers and files never leave it.
Frequently asked questions
Is ZapKit free?
Yes. Every tool on ZapKit is free to use, with no account and no usage limits for normal use. The site may show ads to cover its running costs; they are kept apart from the tools themselves.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. Every tool runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is no account, no app and no browser extension.
Are my files and numbers uploaded anywhere?
Calculators, converters and file tools work inside your browser, so what you type or open stays on your device. The YouTube tools are the exception: they send the link you paste to our server, which asks YouTube's official API for the public details. The privacy policy explains exactly what is kept.
Who makes ZapKit?
ZapKit is built and run by one independent developer in India. It started as a single tool for working out how long a YouTube course playlist takes, and grew from there.
Can I suggest a tool or report a mistake?
Yes, please do. The contact page has an email address. Reports of a wrong result get fixed first.
